Even a smile can be charity
From the Holy Quran re giving and responding to charity (Chapter: Al-Baqarah. Verse: 263):
To speak a kind word and/or to forgive people’s faults is better than charity followed by hurt or hubris. God is All-Sufficient, All-Forbearing

Metehan’s SMA 1 treatment

What do I do? I opened the above Gofundme page for Metehan (now handed over to the father). I also donated a symbolic amount to get the campaign started and shared it within my circles and local/national media. I – with support from academic colleagues – am also trying raise awareness for rare diseases and Zolgensma (see blog post)
